General Location of Hays
When travelling from east of Medicine Hat:
Take your best route to Medicine Hat (if coming from Saskatoon I suggest taking Hwy 7 (#9 in Alberta) to Oyen and turning south onto HWY 41 until you reach the TransCanada)
Continue on the TransCanada, past the exits for Redcliff until you reach the turn off for Rolling Hills/Hays (HWY 524)
The road is a left hand turn off HWY 524 (a right hand turn would take you into the town of Hays). It’s the second house on the left hand side of the road. White wood siding with brick accents.
When travelling from west of Brooks:
Take your best route to Brooks. Stay on the TransCanda for 14 KM until you reach the turn off to Rolling Hills (HWY 875 on your right hand side). Follow this road to a T intersection at Rolling Hills. Turn right at the stop sign and drive through Rolling Hills. Turn left back onto HWY 875 (note there is a single lane bridge on this road).
When you reach the end of the road turn left onto HWY 524. Our road is the first turn on your right and the house is the second drive way on the left.
(note do not take HWY 36 south towards Vauxhall from Brooks - it will add an hour's driving time.)
Follow HWY 3 to Taber. Turn North on to HWY 36. Continue past Vauxhall and turn right on to HWY 524. Turn right at the first road past the turn off to HWY 875. Second house on the left.
The house & Hays (coffee shop (1.), general store (2.), campground).
To Vauxhall - groceries, gas station, liquor store - Take the 524 west.
